Can I get a slice?

Can I get a slice of the Barcelona Pavilion by Mies Van Der Rohe?

The high-rise housing process starts by sampling selective architectural elements from the Barcelona Pavilion. It’s then placed into a planar fractal attractive fixed set with the overall shape of an equilateral triangle, subdivided recursively into smaller equilateral triangles (Sierpiński triangle).

The form is then extruded on the z-plane into four separate stacked chunks, stuffed in between a sea of delicate columns.

The building is finally stretched (z-axis) from each triangular corner creating a parabolic expression.

  • Boundary Population

Elements are populated along the parameter of the selected scale

  • Exterior wall established

Elements are merged to create an outline

  • Populating and fracting

Elements are then placed into a planar fractal attractive fixed set

  • Interior spaces established

Elements are merged to create housing spaces.
